A man has been charged after police uncovered a sophisticated hydroponic cannabis lab during an early morning raid on a Gold Coast home.
Around 6.20am on Wednesday, officers from the Gold Coast Rapid Actions and Patrols executed a search warrant at the Bella Boulevard property at Willow Vale.
During the search, they located the hydroponic setup as well as a large number of developing and mature cannabis plants.

A 27-year-old local man has since been charged with producing dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of a utensil and possession of anything used in the commission of a crime.
He is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on July 28.
A 27-year-old Willow Vale woman is due to appear in the same court on July 31 charged with permitting use of a place.
Senior Sergeant Tracey Hartley, Acting Officer In Charge of Gold Coast RAP said the seizure was a great example of the community working together with police.
“Police will continue to target the people that produce, supply and traffic dangerous drugs. Every seizure amounts to less drugs in our community, making our community a safer place.
