FOOTAGE of a five-year-old boy performing burnouts in a Holden Commodore while his father cheers him on from the driveway of their Queensland home has gone viral after being posted online.
Alex Dobson filmed his five-year-old son performing a series of burnouts in the driveway of their Lockyer Valley home and posted two videos to Facebook on Wednesday.
The clips were posted with the caption “When your 5-year-old says… Dad, can I do a burnout? Sure son, no worries. Remember a car addiction stops a drug addiction.”

Sitting alone in the driver’s seat of the car, the young boy is seen putting the sedan into second gear before stepping on the accelerator.
Dobson can be heard cheering his son on as smoke begins to fill the sky.
“Oh yeah buddy, that’s my boy,” Dobson is heard saying before high-fiving his son through the driver’s side window.
The videos have notched up more than 2,000,000 views since being uploaded to Facebook three days ago.
They’ve been shared more than 30,000 times and have attracted more than 10,000 likes and 7,000 comments.
