Don’t be surprised if you see a convoy of luxury cars filled with colourful characters driving around town from today.
The 2019 Red Boot Rally, powered by Frizelle Sunshine Automotive, kicked off at Audi Centre Gold Coast this morning, with fifteen teams heading off on a three day adventure to raise much needed funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland.
Rebecca Frizelle told myGC the initiative is a fun way to raise really serious money for a great cause.

“As long as you are having fun, that’s generally when you get the right fundraising outcome,” she said.
“Today we are hoping to announce that we have raised over $1 million over the four years [of the initiative], all of which has gone straight to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
“They are in desperate need of money to help really sick children and support the families that are nursing these sick kids during a really critical time.”
Money raised from the Red Boot Rally is used to fund emergency accommodation and support services for families staying in a Ronald McDonald House in Herston, South Brisbane, inside the Queensland Children’s Hospital and inside the Gold Coast University Hospital.
