WATCH Residents flee as plane crashes into Californian neighbourhood
TWO people have tragically died and two others have been injured after a plane crashed into a house in the United States.
It’s been reported that a small plane came apart in the air, dropping parts throughout a neighbourhood in southern California.
A two-storey house in the Yorba Linda neighbourhood was struck by part of the plane and burst into flames, causing panic throughout the community.
It’s believed the twin-engine Cessna 414A took off from a nearby airport, with just one person – the pilot – on board.
It is still unclear whether or not the pilot is one of the deceased.
In footage from one of the neighbourhood’s residents, loud gun-shot like noises can be heard as bystanders yell out to ‘move away’ from the house which is well engulfed in flames.
Investigations are continuing.
