WATCH: Roar-some Jurassic Creatures coming to Robina Town Centre from Boxing Day

There’s a stampede of a different kind arriving at Robina Town Centre this Boxing Day and it’s set to get heads turning, jaws dropping and hearts pounding.

Jurassic Creatures will transport locals to a land before time, with the area behind Event Cinemas to be transformed into a prehistoric reserve with over 30 dinosaur species on show.

The interactive walk-through exhibition features state-of-the-art animatronics and archaeology, giving Gold Coasters the chance to get up close to giant and realistic life-size beasts, from the Tyrannosaurus Rex to the Triceratops and Stegosaurus.

Designed and developed in Australia, Jurassic Creatures will also feature a dino-mite line up of activities, displays and experiences for families to get involved in, including children’s rides, jumping castles, The Lost World of Smurfs and lots more.

Budding palaeontologists will love chipping away at fossils in the interactive fossil digging zone, getting creative with an array of arts and crafts, catching some serious air on the dino jumping castle and frolicking in the Jurassic ball pit.

Additional exhibits to peruse include the Giant World Bug Display, Prehistoric Creatures of Ice spectacle and Fossil Exhibit. There will also be a selection of carnival games and rides, souvenir shop, plus selfie opportunities galore.
