Russia has gifted a puppy to France to replace a police dog called Diesel who was killed during the Paris terror raids in November.
Igor Zubov, a deputy interior minister, handed the male German Shepherd puppy named Dobrynya to French ambassador Jean-Maurice Ripert at a beautiful ceremony in Moscow.
“We all mourn the victims of the attacks,” Zubov said, referring to the horror terror attacks which killed 130 people and injured hundreds more on November 13.

Diesel was killed five days later during a terror raid on an apartment where the suspects of the attacks were hiding.
French Ambassador Mr Ripert called the seven-month-old puppy an “extraordinary gift”.
