WATCH: Snake slithers out of overhead luggage cabin mid-flight
Passengers flying to Mexico City received the shock of their lives on Sunday, when a real-life snake slithered out of an overhead luggage cabin.
Video of the terrifying encounter was posted to Twitter by Indalecio Medina.
“A unique experience on the flight 231 from Aeromexico,” Mr Medina captioned the footage.
“The snake arrived alive and kicking, frightened but without having paid its airfare!”
In the video, which is sure to raise a few hairs, the snake can be seen slithering out from behind the luggage cabin before dropping down.
According to local media, the Aeromexico flight made an emergency landing and the snake was captured by animal control crews.
It is unknown how the creature made its way onto the flight.
