Snapchat has just introduced a game-changing new feature.
‘Snapchat Memories’ will be rolled out across devices within the next month, allowing users to save their favorite Snaps and Stories to a memories tab so that you can repost and even combine stories whenever you please!
“Memories is a new way to save Snaps and Stories on Snapchat. It’s a personal collection of your favorite moments that lives below the Camera screen. Just swipe up from the Camera to open Memories!” Snapchat wrote in a blog post overnight.

“You can use Memories to create new Stories from Snaps you’ve taken, or even combine different Stories into a longer narrative! It’s fun to celebrate an anniversary or birthday by finding a few old Snaps and stringing them together into a new Story :)”
Snapchat says that they have also introduced a ‘My eye’s only’ feature which allows you to save snapchats to a folder that only you can see.
“We realized that Snapchatters want to feel comfortable showing their Memories to friends while they’re hanging out together, so we made it easy to move Snaps and Stories to My Eyes Only — and avoid awkward moments when a friend stumbles upon a Snap meant just for you,” they wrote.
Snapchat says you’ll receive a message from the Team when Memories is ready for you to use.
