A giant earth has been suspended in front of the HOTA outdoor stage, as part of Wonder – an 11 day festival of events taking place at the entertainment precinct from tomorrow.
The incredible installation, created by artist Luke Jerram, is called GAIA and is open to the public for free day and night viewing from October 1 to 11.
Made from 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface, audiences can view the planet in all its glory as if they were astronauts looking on from outer space.
