WATCH: Terrifying armed robbery caught on camera

Police have released vision of a frightening armed robbery in Logan on the weekend as they try and track down those responsible.

Two men wearing high-vis shirts stormed the Cash Converters on Grand Plaza Drive at Browns Plains around 2.40pm on Sunday.

One was armed with a firearm while the second was armed with a tomahawk.

The man armed with the firearm threatened staff and customers, forcing them to get on the ground.

The second man used his tomahawk to smash several glass cabinets containing jewellery.

The men then fled, threatening an unsuspecting elderly man who had just walked into the store.

The pair escaped in a black Honda Civic being driven by a third man, with false Queensland registration plates 360 YQW.

The car was last seen turning onto Browns Plains Rd.

No one was injured during the robbery.
