Tanah Boyd will be making his NRL debut for the Gold Coast Titans this afternoon, and the team filmed his reaction to the news on the down-low.
The 19-year-old will come off the interchange for the first time against the Newcastle Knights, making him Titan #150.
At Gold Coast Titan’s headquarters, the team set up cameras around the office to get his reaction on video, and if it doesn’t make you say ‘awww’ then you probably don’t have a heart.

Senior Coach Craig Hodges breaks the news to debutante to be, first asking about some of the aspects of his game that he needs to improve on, before asking if he can bring them to the field for the first grade clash.
“Bloody oath I can!” replies an emotional Boyd.
It’s the best reaction video of the year, we think.
Boyd’s then filmed telling his dad and mum over the phone, and his mum’s reaction brings a tear to the eye.
Then the news is announced to the rest of the Titan’s team – and they erupt in cheer.
Supporters of the club don’t always get these sorts of look-ins, but man we’re glad we got to see this moment. It copped us straight in the feels, pulling all the heart strings.
Tanah Boyd says finally putting on the jersey this afternoon will be a dream come true for him.
“This is what I’ve been looking forward to since I was four, this is what I’ve always wanted to do.
“Dad’s always supported me, everyone’s supported me so well.
“It’s going to mean the world to them, not only to them but my friends as well,” Boyd said.
Good luck this afternoon Tanah – Go Titans!
