We’re getting an insight into how the tram ride to Helensvale will look from the inside.
A test run along the newly finished 7.3km track, which snakes from the Gold Coast University Hospital, west up the Smith Street Motorway and north alongside the M1 to Helensvale Train Station, was carried out yesterday.
It’s believed the second stage will be ready to run from January.

I means passengers can now hitch a ride all the way from Pacific Fair to Westfield Helensvale.
