We’ve been saying ‘Nutella’ wrong our whole lives

NUTELLA is quite easily one of the most-loved chocolate spreads in the world, however it appears many have been pronouncing its name wrong for years.

The revelation of the correct pronunciation was made on the companies Frequently Asked Questions section on their website.

Under  ‘What is Nutella hazelenut spread?’ the company replied: ‘Nutella (pronounced “new-tell-uh”) is a tasty, unique spread made from the combination of roasted hazelnuts, skim milk and a hint of cocoa. Nutella has no artificial colors or preservatives.’

Fans of the addictive hazelnut chocolate spread took to social media to express their surprise and confusion that Nutella, which contains nuts was not actually pronounced NUTella.
