“We’ve missed you”: Village Roadshow Theme Parks launch new campaign ahead of re-opening

Village Roadshow Theme Parks are gearing up to re-open to the public with the launch of their brand new Welcome Back campaign.

In an ad released this week, Village Roadshow CEO Clark Kirby said they can’t wait to welcome back guests to their theme parks.

“We’ve missed the laughter and all the fun, but most importantly, we’ve missed you!” he says.


The 1-minute clip features footage from all of the group’s local theme parks and resorts, including Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World, Wet’n’Wild, Paradise Country, TopGolf Gold Coast, Australian Outback Spectacular and Sea World Resort.

The ad also reveals there may be some new attractions for guests to enjoy once they re-open to the public.

At this stage, it is not yet known when Village Roadshow Theme Parks will officially re-open to the public.

The State Government’s recovery roadmap has theme parks reopening next month but only with 100 people.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks together with Dreamworld owner Ardent Leisure have submitted COVID-safe plans to the Queensland Health Department and the Chief Health Officer for assessment in the hope they can open sooner and have more people through the gates.

Do people with annual passes get compensated?

they better extend our memberships from the date closed to the date opened however long it is add that amount on to the the expiry
