We all need a little joy this festive season, and while some Christmas carols have gone virtual – many will be live and loud on the Gold Coast.

North Burleigh Carols By The Sea
Date: Thursday, 10 December 2020.
Time: 4 PM – 8 PM
Where: Ed Hardy Park, The Esplanade, North Burleigh
What: A festive mixture of children’s activities, food trucks and markets from 4 PM to 6 PM. This will be followed by Christmas entertainment including carols, displays by community
groups and live music from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Cost: Free

Community Christmas Carols with Tania Kernaghan
Date: Saturday, 12 December 2020.
Time: 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Where: Mudgeeraba Showgrounds, 115 Mudgeeraba Road, Worongary
What: A night of community Christmas carols hosted by Tania Kernaghan, food vans, coffee vans and market stalls. BYO picnic blanket or camp chair.

Nerang Celebrates Christmas

What: ‘Nerang Celebrates Christmas 2020’
Take the kids, a picnic blanket, chairs and join the local community for a night of COVID-safe family fun, food and festivities. There’ll be $2 rides, a sausage sizzle, fairy floss,
drinks and a variety of food stalls. Christmas entertainment will start at 3 PM, with traditional carols and a visit from Santa from 6 PM. The event will finish at 8.30 PM.

Carols by the Lake 2020 – Robina Town Centre
Date: Saturday, 12 December 2020.
Time: 4 PM – 8 PM
Where: The Promenade, Robina Town Centre
What: Loads of free family fun including live music, kids activities, roving entertainment, Christmas carols, a visit from Santa, performances by community groups. Nearby restaurants and businesses at Robina Town Centre will also be serving up some festive food and special offers.

Coolangatta Christmas Carols
Date: Sunday, 13 December 2020.
Time: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where: Queen Elizabeth Park, Marine Parade, Coolangatta
What: Sing along to carols, enjoy spectacular festive performances, and settle in for a magical night under the Southern Gold Coast stars. Santa will be making an appearance by plane! The Coolangatta Christmas Markets and food trucks will be open from 4 PM to 8 PM (Qld time), with the stage show starting at 5.30 PM. The event also includes a festive fireworks display.

Elanora Community Christmas Carols

Where: Elanora State School
What: Kids will love the jumping castle, food trucks, puppet show, local community group items, and more! Santa will be there to greet at the gate from 5pm with the carols to kick off at 6pm.

Carols on the Broadwater
Date: Wednesday, 16 December 2020.
Time: 4:00PM to 7:00PM
Where: Southport Yacht Club
What: Join in at Southport Yacht Club for a family fun evening of Christmas Carols at Carols on the Broadwater overlooking the stunning Marina and Broadwater. Enjoy live carols, face painting, games, and carolers. Make sure you stay around and watch Santa’s Jetpack show! His big departure will be a night to remember for all. Bookings essential.
Cost: Free, or there is a $15 kids plated dinner and $30 adults plated dinner.
