Wild winds causing travel chaos: Flights to/from Sydney delayed, cancelled
Anyone due to catch a flight to or from Sydney Airport today are being warned of cancellations and delays due to extreme winds.
Sydney Airport issued a statement on their Twitter account a short time ago, confirming the disruptions.
“We are expecting delays today due to weather conditions,” the short statement reads.
“Please check with your airline for updated flight status.”

At the time of writing, 11 flights from Sydney to the Gold Coast were cancelled.
Passengers are being urged to check with their airline for their individual flight status.
