For the past 3 months, Luca the Koala has been recovering at the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital after he was attacked by a couple of dogs.
Head Vet Michael Pyne told myGC Luca has had a lengthy recovery as he suffered extensive damage to his front hand.
“It was really chewed up and was quite a mess,” he said. “He has done really well.”
