Marsha the Echidna is lucky to be alive after being hit by a car.
The sweet echidna was brought into the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital where she has spent the past week recovering.
“Fortunately she suffered no serious injuries – she was just a bit knocked around,” Dr Michael Pyne told myGC. “She is doing very well and has settled into hospital life nicely. But we do want to get her back out into the wild as soon as possible.”
