Wildlife Wednesday: Phillip the brown falcon

Phillip the brown falcon has finally been reunited with his family after a short stay at the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.

It’s believed Phillip may have jumped (or was pushed) out of his family’s nest a little too soon, and so needed some TLC at the hospital. “We fattened him up for about a week,” Head Vet Michael Pyne told myGC.

“We knew where the nest was – so we had someone climb up the tree to put the chick back in [the nest].”
