A 24-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a man to death with a large kitchen knife in Brisbane’s south.
The 26-year-old man was found with “significant injuries”, lying on a footpath outside a home on Junction Terrace in Annerley about 11.55pm on Tuesday.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services to keep the man alive, he could not be saved and died at the scene.

It’s understood the man had been stabbed in the chest with a 30cm kitchen knife.
A 24-year-old woman, who police confirmed was known to the man, was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with one count of murder.
She is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam video from nearby Ipswich or Annerley Roads to come forward.
A crime scene has been established on Junction Terrace and is being examined by forensic police.
