Woman accused of hacking ‘partner’ with knife in Qld park
A WOMAN has allegedly hacked a man with a knife multiple times in a frenzied attack after an argument between the pair escalated in a park north of Brisbane.
Police say they were called to reports of the couple fighting in a park off Hayes Street in Caboolture just before 5.30pm on Friday.
On arrival, officers found a 28-year-old man with multiple stab wounds and lacerations to his arm and leg.
He was rushed to Caboolture Hospital for treatment to what police described as “non-life-threatening injuries”.
A 31-year-old woman was found by police nearby.
She was arrested without incident and taken to the local police station where she was formally charged with unlawful wounding-domestic violence offence.
The woman was denied police bail and remanded in custody to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court today.
