Two young children have reportedly told Police they became ‘hot’ while shoved inside pet crates in the back of a four-wheel-drive in the United States.
It’s alleged they were told to get inside the animal transportation devices by a 62-year-old woman, whose relationship to the children is not known, because she didn’t have any other space in her vehicle.
According to ABC News, Leimome Cheeks was charged with two counts of child endangerment by Memphis Police.

The children, aged 7 and 8, reportedly told officers there were no air conditioning vents in the back of the vehicle and “they became hot” as temperatures in the area reached about 35 degrees Celsius.
It’s not believed the children needed medical attention.
But they did seem a bit disoriented as they got out of the crates, as seen in a video posted online.
