Woman accused of repeatedly stabbing man

A woman is behind bars after allegedly launching a stabbing attack on a man in what Police have called a domestic violence incident.

Police were called to Alfred Street in Bomaderry, in the Shoalhaven region of  NSW, about 3.30am on Friday.

A 46-year-old man was found with three stab wounds to his shoulder.

He told officers he was attacked after answering a knock at his door.

The offender fled the scene, but was later tracked down at a home on Neale Place and arrested.

The 45-year-old woman has been charged with wound person intend to cause grievous bodily harm to face court today.

The man was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital, where he was treated for non life threatening injuries and later released.
