Woman airlifted to hospital following hang glider accident

A WOMAN has been airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital following a hang glider accident this afternoon.

Emergency services rushed to the scene at Knapp Creek around 1.00pm following reports a hang glider had crashed into a tree.

The woman, aged in her 30s, has been airlifted to hospital with a shoulder injury and possible collarbone fracture.
