A 45-year-old woman was allegedly more than six times the legal alcohol limit when she crashed into a light pole at Byron Bay over the weekend.
Just after 1.30pm on Sunday, emergency services were called to a car park on Jonson Street following reports a Toyota Corolla struck a pole.
The driver of the car managed to escape uninjured, however she returned a positive result to a roadside breath test.

The woman was taken to Byron Bay Police Station where she allegedly returned a breath analysis reading of 0.333.
She was charged with high-range PCA and granted conditional bail to appear at Byron Bay Local Court on Thursday 25 October.
Her licence was also suspended.
