Woman allegedly pushed into car and sexually assaulted in late night attack

A WOMAN has been pushed into her car and sexually assaulted by a man who allegedly ambushed her in a car park at Mascot, in Sydney’s south-east overnight.

Police said the 21-year-old woman had returned to her car which was parked in a car park off Ross Smith Avenue around 10.30pm on Tuesday when she was attacked.

It’s understood the woman was already in the car when a man approached her and knocked on the driver’s window.


The woman stepped out of the car at which point police allege the man pushed her back into the vehicle and sexually assaulted her, before fleeing on foot.

The woman reported the incident to police who are now actively searching for her attacker.

He is described as being of Mediterranean / Middle Eastern in appearance, about 30 to 35 years old, 180cm-185cm tall with a medium build and long black hair.
