Woman and child hospitalised after separate dog attacks in Qld

TWO people have been rushed to hospital after being bitten by dogs in separate incidents in Queensland overnight.

The first incident happened just before 7.00pm, when a young boy was bitten on the neck by a dog at Woodgate.

The child was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.


Around 3.30am, emergency services were called to a home in Coorparoo following reports a woman had been bitten by a dog.

The woman, aged in her 20s, was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

Queensland Ambulance confirmed she was also transported in a stable condition.
