A woman and child have been threatened by three men armed with a gun at a home in Sydney’s west.
It’s believed the 11-year-old was sitting on the steps of her Whalan home at around 10.00pm on Thursday night when she was approached by the group of men.
One of the men then pulled out a gun and threatened her.

The armed man then entered the home and threatened the girl’s 33-year-old mother before running off with the two other males.
The frightened mother called police, who have now launched an investigation.
They are calling on the three men to come forward.
The first man is described to police as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance and about 15-years-old. He was last seen wearing all black with blue and white sneakers.
The second man is described to police as having dark skin and was wearing all black, with a multi-coloured bandana covering his face, and blue shoes with red and white trim with a crocodile motif.
No description was provided of the third male.
