Woman arrested, accused of stabbing her partner in NSW domestic attack

A WOMAN has been arrested after allegedly driving a knife through her partner’s chest in a domestic attack on Sydney’s North Shore overnight.

Police said a Good Samaritan found the man bleeding from a large stab wound at a unit block on Edgeworth David Avenue at Waitara around 8.30pm.

Paramedics rushed the man to Hornsby Hospital from where he was transferred to Royal North Shore Hospital where he was reported to be in a stable condition on Saturday morning.


A woman, believed to be the man’s partner, was arrested near the unit block and taken to Hornsby Police Station.

She remained there on Saturday morning, assisting detectives with their inquiries.

Inquiries are continuing and anyone with information is urged to come forward and call police.
