Woman arrested after man stabbed in neck

A WOMAN has been arrested after a man was stabbed in the neck at a home west of Brisbane.

Police were called to an address on Bergin Street in Booval just before 6.30pm last night.

They arrived to find a 30-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times.


Police said the man had sustained a number of stab wounds to his neck and abdomen.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being transported to Ipswich Hospital.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.

A woman was arrested at the scene and remained in police custody early this morning.
