Woman arrested after allegedly glassing another woman during brawl
A woman has been arrested after another woman was seriously injured during a brawl at an inner Sydney train station this morning.
Police said that around 12.45am, emergency services were called to Redfern railway station following reports of a brawl.
Upon arrival, officers had to disperse OC spray to separate two women.
Paramedics treated a a 27-year-old woman for injuries to her head before transporting her to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment.
Police say initial investigations suggest the woman had been struck with a glass bottle.
Another woman, aged 20, was arrested at the station and taken to Redfern Police Station, where she was later released pending further investigations.
