A woman has been arrested after allegedly leading police on a dramatic chase through Adelaide’s south early this morning.
Officers attempted to stop the woman’s black Holden Commodore sedan on Archifield Avenue at Christies Beach just after 5am.
The female driver allegedly refused and sped away from police.

Officers pursued the Commodore through several back streets before it came to a stop on Vincent Street after blowing a tyre.
The 26-year-old woman behind the wheel was arrested at the scene and taken into custody for questioning.
She was later charged with multiple traffic offences, including engaging in a police pursuit, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, displaying false plates (the rear number plate was different to the front plate ) and breaching her learners permit conditions.
The woman is expected to be bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court at a later date.
