Woman charged over alleged assault at Jack Evans Boat Harbour

A young woman has been arrested and charged following an alleged assault in Tweed Heads.

The 22-year-old was taken into custody by police during a daytime high visibility patrol of Jack Evans Boat Harbour on Thursday, June 30.

“Police will allege several days earlier, the woman in the company of others, assaulted a victim that caused actual bodily harm,” Tweed Police said.


The woman was charged and granted conditional bail to appear before the Tweed Heads Local Court on July 11.

“Police will continue to conduct patrols and work with stakeholders to deter anti-social behaviour at the park,” police said.
