Woman arrseted, charged with drink driving after two-car crash

A woman has been arrested and charged with drink driving after she allegedly lost control of her car and crashed into another in Sydney’s southeast.

Police said they were called to reports of a two-car crash on Bartley Street in Canley Vale just after midnight last night.

The driver of one of the cars, a 33-year-old woman, was subjected to a roadside breath test at the scene which police said she failed.

The woman was then arrested and taken to Cabramatta Police Station where an official breath analysis returned a reading of 0.126.

The woman’s license was suspended and she was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice for mid-range PCA.

She will appear before Liverpool Local Court on Monday 22 August.
