Woman assaulted by man who crawled into her home through window

Police have released a computer generated image of a man after a woman was indecently assaulted in a terrifying home invasion in Broken Hill.

The sickening attack occurred just after 8.45pm on Saturday 15 April.

Police said a 26-year-old woman was at her home on Iodide Street, when a man entered the home through a window.

The woman confronted him, before he allegedly indecently assaulted her, exposed himself and committed an act of indecency.

While in the home, he allegedly stole a tablet device and a purse before fleeing over the back fence.

The man is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged between 14-18 years old, and of a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a dark hooded jumper, dark shorts, and dark shoes with white soles.
