A WOMAN has been left shaking in shock after being accosted by a knife-wielding intruder in her home.
Police have been told a man with a knife entered the woman’s home on Milton Street in Sydney’s inner west shortly after 9.30pm last night and bailed her up in a bedroom.
The man allegedly threatened the woman who police said was able to run out of the room and alert another person in the home.

Police said the woman received minor lacerations to her hand during a struggle with the armed man, who police say she did not know.
The intruder fled the scene and remains at large.
He is described as being Asian in appearance, aged in his 20s and about 175cm tall with a slim to medium build.
The man was wearing a hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants and sandals at the time.
