A woman has been rushed to hospital after being bitten by a snake in the Gold Coast hinterland.
Emergency crews were called to a home at Natural Bridge just after 10.00pm on Friday, following reports of a snake bite.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC the woman, aged in her 50s, was bitten on the hand.

She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
The spokesperson said the woman was transported in a “serious but stable” condition.
It’s not yet known what snake was involved in the incident.
