Woman bound with duct tape, threatened with sledge hammer in terrifying robbery

A bowls club employee has been tied up by two men during a terrifying armed robbery in the Hunter region.

About 10.30pm on Monday, two men jumped out of a stolen car armed with a shortened firearm and sledge hammer.

Police say the pair forced their way into a bowls club and tied up a worker’s hands and feet with duct tape.
