Woman busted 7x the legal limit after ‘swerving’ across traffic
A WOMAN has been busted drink-driving almost seven times the legal limit in Sydney’s west.
Witnesses called police after spotting a sedan swearing across traffic on Henry Lawson Drive in Padstow just before 7pm last night.
Police say the woman’s car then hit a gutter, with a tow-truck driver moving his vehicle to block her car and prevent her from leaving.
The 53-year-old woman was arrested at the scene by police.
She was taken to Bankstown Police Station where she underwent a breath analysis, returning an alleged reading 0.342.
The woman, from Padstow Heights, has since been charged with high-range PCA and is due to appear in Bankstown Local Court on 1 April.
Her licence has also been suspended and confiscated.
