Woman busted drink driving with children in car after crash

A woman has been charged with drink driving after crashing her car, carrying two young children, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs overnight.

Police say around 7.00pm, the woman failed to negotiate a left hand turn before crossing to the incorrect side of the road and colliding with an oncoming vehicle.

Both of the drivers and two children, aged four and six, escaped unharmed.

The 37-year-old woman was arrested at the scene after allegedly returning a positive breath test of 0.182.

She was issued a court attendance notice for the offence of high range PCA and is due to appear at Waverley Local Court on Tuesday 20 September.

The woman’s licence was also suspended.
