A NEW South Wales woman has been charged with high range drink driving after she was allegedly caught behind the wheel of a car while almost nine times over the limit.
The woman was intercepted by police at Willoughby, on Sydney’s North Shore, shortly after midday on Friday.
Officers approached the woman who was sitting in a car at the intersection of Mowbray and Marlborough roads around 12.35pm and subjected her to a roadside breath test, which she allegedly failed.

She was subsequently arrested and taken to Chatswood Police Station where she underwent a second breath analysis which returned an official reading of 0.445.
The 42-year-old woman was charged with high range PCA and had her licence suspended on the spot.
She will front Hornsby Local Court on Thursday, December 14.
