Woman charged after allegedly stabbing boyfriend at Sydney home

A woman has been charged after she allegedly stabbed a man, believed to be her boyfriend, at a home in Sydney’s west overnight.

Police say the attack occurred around 10.20pm, with a 33-year-old woman allegedly stabbing a 36-year-old man in the left shoulder.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being transported to Westmead Hospital for treatment.

The woman was arrested and taken to Penrith Police Station where she was charged with malicious wounding and breach AVO.

She was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court today.
