A woman has been charged with arson after a home was destroyed by fire at Woodridge overnight.
Around 6.30pm, police were called to Nurdi Street after receiving reports of a house fire.
On arrival, officers found the home well alight. Despite desperate attempts by emergency services, the house was completely destroyed.

Luckily, no one was injured in the blaze.
Following ongoing investigations, a 31-year-old woman from Woodridge was charged with one count of arson.
She is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
