A woman has been charged following investigations into a bomb hoax at a number of businesses in Boonah late last month.

Police say that on October 28, the woman made several threatening phone calls to staff at four businesses located on High Street between 9.00am and 10.00am.

All of the businesses were evacuated before police were able to determine the threats to be unsubstantiated.
