A WOMAN has been charged over a horrific crash which claimed the lives of two men on Magnetic Island earlier this year.
Police said that around 1.00am on June 1, police were called to Sooning Street in Nelly Bay where they discovered a mini moke had left the roadway and crashed into a power pole after failing to negotiate a roundabout.
Two men, aged 41 and 48, died at the scene.

A woman who was driving the vehicle was taken to the Townsville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Following ongoing investigations, detectives charged a 26-year-old Richmond Hill woman with two counts of dangerous operation of motor vehicle causing death and driving under the influence.
The woman appeared in the Townsville Magistrates Court on Wednesday and will next appear in the same court on December 13.
