Woman charged after man brutally stabbed during heated argument

A woman has been charged after she allegedly stabbed a man during a heated argument in NSW.

Police said that around 5.50am yesterday, a 23-year-old man suffered a number of stab wounds following a verbal altercation at North Street, Casino.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a critical condition.


A 29-year-old woman was arrested at the home and taken to Casino Police Station where she was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Police say the incident is believed to have been domestic related.
