Woman charged with manslaughter after man found dead in southern NSW

A WOMAN has been arrested and charged with the manslaughter of a man who died at a house in southern NSW four years ago.

Emergency crews were called to conduct a welfare check at the Burrangong Hall Road home in Young on Tuesday 13 March 2012.

Crews arrived to find a man injured outside the home. He died at the scene.


Detectives from Cootamundra Local Area Command formed Strike Force Rengbari to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Following protracted investigations, a 39-year-old woman was yesterday arrested at a home in Young.

She was taken to Young Police Station and charged with manslaughter.

The woman was refused bail and appeared at Wagga Wagga Local Court today where she was granted conditional bail to reappear at Young Local Court on Tuesday 8 November 2016.
