Woman charged with murder after 2yo girl found dead in NSW
A woman has been charged with murder after the body of a two-year-girl was found in south-west Sydney yesterday.
Just after 12.00pm, emergency services were called to a home on Merino Street in Miller after concerns were raised by a family friend.
On arrival, officers located the body of a two-year old girl in a bathtub inside the house.
It’s believed she may have been dead for days.
Last night detectives attended a medical facility in the Blue Mountains and spoke with a 36-year-old woman.
She was arrested and taken to Katoomba Police station and has been charged with murder.
The woman was refused bail and will appear in Penrith Local Court today.
