Woman charged over stabbing murder

A WOMAN has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a man to death in Sydney’s west.

Glen Pedgrift, 47, died outside a home on Meroo Street in Blacktown about 5.20pm on Wednesday.

It’s alleged he’d been stabbed during an argument with a 50-year-old woman at a house nearby.

The injured man is believed to have walked several metres along the footpath before collapsing.

Police rushed to the scene and performed CPR on the man in the street until paramedics arrived.

Sadly, though, the man’s injuries were too severe and he died at the scene.

A 50-year-old woman was arrested nearby and taken to Blacktown Police Station for questioning.

She was charged overnight with one count of murder and will front Blacktown Court in December.
