Woman charged after police discover $330K worth of cannabis growing in suburban Sydney home

A woman has been charged after police discovered more than $300,000 worth of cannabis growing inside a home in Sydney’s south overnight.

Just after 8.30pm, officers raided a house in Kingsgrove, seizing 97 cannabis plants with an estimated potential street value of $333,000.

Four rooms in the house allegedly contained sophisticated hydroponic equipment.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested at the home and taken to St George Police Station where she was charged with cultivate prohibited plant.

She is due to appear at Sutherland Local Court today.
